If I was dying of canceror some terminal illness, or was in major labor pains from Childbirth, or had some other catastrophic event that was causing me the ultimate in physical and.or emotional pain, then yes, it actually empathetic for my man as my best friend to show some strong emotion, even a tear ...but there would of course be motivating circumstances. Not be funny, but for some very strong, tough, independent woman who do not, as a rule cry, then their men are the ones that might. It is different for every couple, but the goal is to find someone that balances out the qualities you have. If a woman is a teary, emotional or just needs that shoulder to lean on, then the man she finds attractive is going to be the opposite emotionally.
I personally cry easily about a lot of things, so guys who cry easier than me would not find me attractive, I am sure.

Guess it depends on the situation- and the frequency. If there's a really good reason to be crying, I think it's sweet when guys show a little emotion. But if he cries more often than I do...uhm....no.

Depends on the circumstances but I think generally women want a man who is there for them, strong when they are weak...or maybe it's just me.
It's ok for a guy to cry when it's something really tragic or sad in his life.

I love a guy that could cry.
A real cry, not fake crocodile tears. From the heart. Sweet.

That they are wimps. Guys should not cry except for extreme cases (death and immense pain). Actually, same goes for women!

I'd have to actually meet a guy like that first in order to form an opinion. I didn't know that such guys existed.

Crying because of how deep his love feels, is flattering. Crying because he feels sorry....depends on why he feels sympathy.
