For 40 years I considered myself a Republican, served in the military 21 years, and had a way of thinking totally different from my views today. Since George Bush and the NEOCONS have been in office, I have come to almost hating what I once was and believed in. How many other kids are in Iraq and around the world dying now because of how they were raised in philosophy? At what age does a person understand the world and the lies? Maybe I need to thank Fox News and their propaganda for setting me straight. War doesn't prove anything other than one country is stronger than the other. Heaven forbid we use our brains to resolve issues. Repuiblicans think, if you don't believe the way we do we'll eliminate you!! Would you want your child to eliminate their enemy in school? Guns, war, religion, oil, and man are the true axis of evil.

Stronger and changed. In college, at a liberal college, I was firm in my Republican ideologies. I adored Fox News and spouted off about how necessary it was that we invaded Iraq. By the time I graduated (2005), my views had changed slightly. Once I moved back to California, my views changed even more. I am almost at the complete opposite end of the spectrum, now. I do not like labels, though I make it no secret that I lean left. That does not define me, though. I am still a free thinker.

I too was in the military and thought the same way you did till Bush & CO came into the picture. This has been a rude awaking to the truth about my government and I almost wish I was not as involved as I once was. You know the saying ignorace is bliss. Unfourtanly once you start to find out the truth you can not turn you back on it. The Truth is a virus and our government wishes to keep that fact out of the public. All I feel I can do now is get what I belive to be the truth to others in hope that maybe they will get infected and start standing up agaisnt this evil empire that has hijacked our counrty. Keep fighting the good fight!

I think that George Bush has been given way more credit than even he would say he deserves. To hear some people talk he is responsible for every woe on the face of the earth. He made some mistakes yes but t call him evil or Hitler or what ever terrible name you can think of is unfair and quite frankly it is childish.

Stronger belief that Representative Government must be amended out "eliminated" of our constitution and replaced by majority rule and control by our legal citizen's if there is ever to be any true fairness or equal opportunity for the majority and stop the control of and by a minority of the wealthy!

I agree with you! I was talking with a friend yesterday whose dad is an engineer with an oil company, and it is appalling the kinds of games that are being played at the expense of the trust and hard earnings of the American people. When are we going to wake up? Who will the new revolutionaries be? Tell me- I'm there.

No change, but the opposition to the administration has made my political views stonger.

superior, actual. My faith hasn't replaced, yet my religious perspectives have. (also, I had no theory that atheists imagine that all and distinctive Christians are morons till I got here on the following.)
