The iPod is a brand of portable media players designed and marketed by Apple Computer. Most ipods today have a color screen, which displays anything from photos, to the CD album art, to the music information. An ipod video can hold whole TV shows! An ipod shuffle has no display, and can only hold about 10 CDs worth. The primary advantage of an ipod, is that because of its compact nature, it is very portable, and all the music is downloaded through the computer, so you don't risk losing or damaging your cds.
