Talk to him about it and see what he says - depending on the circumstances there may well have been a genuine reason for him to say what he said. Only way to know is to ask!

Be careful using words like "I can never trust a guy [again]". I have it on good authority (namely, my personal experience) that not all males of the species are monsters, and yes, some of the good ones are still single! If you're continually attracting bad ones, perhaps you need to change the broadcast frequency on your mating signal!

With that aside: If it *is* true, you have to look at the nature of the offense and decide whether or not it is forgivable. Which also means you need to get the whole story - you need to let him speak in his own defense, and you have to actually consider the possibility that *his* story is also true. If it is forgivable, then you work things out with the boy and life moves on. If it is not forgivable, then you remove the boy from your life and life moves on.

But please note that in both cases, LIFE MOVES ON. If you decide to keep the boy around as a friend, but you remain angry at him for whatever happened, then you haven't moved on, and you aren't being a very good friend to him. Keep that in mind, too - even if the girl is wrong, can you fully believe that she's wrong, or will you always remain resentful and suspicious? If it's the latter, then do HIM a favor and remove him from your life, because he won't deserve how you'll treat him from there on.

If its true, then you will have nothing to do with it. You have to accept the truth. I believe in the aphorism that "The truth shall set you free."
And it depends on you on how are you going to react when he tells the truth.
in fact, he still a good friend because he is telling you the truth.
But both of you should talk and clear this matter up.

or maybe, what you heard was just a gossip. We really dont know the story but the gooder wayu to solve this thing is to talk with your bestfriend. Do not judge immediately. Let your bestfriend explain his side.

trust your bestfriend..I know he wont hurt you.

My bestest friend (who I had been friends with from school) betrayed me last year, and I will never forgive her for that, we aint spoke since. I dont need people like that in my life!

you need to find out if this thing is true first.

you need to find out the truth first but if it turns out that your friend did betray you then you need to tell him where to go. a friendship has to be a two way thing and you shouldn't be willing to make sacrifices if the other person isn't. i was in a similar situation and it took me a while to have the confidence to stand up for myself but it was definitly the right decision. feel free to e-mail me if you need some support.

Dont tell him wt u know.Ask about it in a crafty way so that you can compare the two stories. If its true, then find out why!!Very important! Then forgive and forget.....although the forget part wil take alot of tm.....the resentment will soon disappear....time, its a wonderful thing....

TALK TO HIM
i know that's old and angering advice, but it's the best and, ultimately, could save your relationship.

Ask him outright and you will know if he is telling the truth or is lying.
