My daughter is 10 and here's what she wears:
She layers her clothes - makes sense for her as she's a dancer.
She wears leggings with short skirts and tank tops, longer camis that go lower than her waist.
She wears yoga pants and cotton shorts on top, zip up hoodies, drop waist tops, over the knee socks.
Legwarmers and tights in different patterns.
Her favorite store is Limited Too, but she also likes to shop at small boutiques for original stuff. Skinny scarves and funky hats.

teen vouge report: Leggings suck. try layered tops, tunics, mabye a pencil skirt, tight jeans,knickers, chunky chain jewlry, a blazer, a HUGE bag to use as a backpack. That is all fashionable, I am 11, And that is what I wear...

Striped shirts are in and leggings. Wear a striped shirt, mini skirt, leggings and ballet flats. And u will look cute 4 school.

remember that what matters is whats on the inside and not whats on the outside
some brands that i think are popular for people around the ages of 11 - 16 are
aeropostale(for the more younger teens, i think)
hollister(older teens)
american eagle ( middle and older teens)
abercrombie and fitch ( middle and older teens)

hollister they have very hot clothes. leggings and a skirt thats in style. jeans, belts,tunics, polos,shrugs!!
