Hi Hanna,
The redness hurts but the skin peeling will not hurt. It might itch but that's all. You can use a lotion with vitamin E to help ease the itching and aid in skin regrowth.

You should always wear sunscreen to protect your lovely skin.
Take Care,

No, after a couple of days, the sting of the sunburn generally goes away. The peeling of the skin doesn't hurt, as it's just dead skin falling off. In fact, a lot of it will probably loosen up in the shower and come off. I would put After Sun lotion or some other type of thick body butter, though, as you should always keep your skin moisturized, especially after being out in the sun.

If the burn is really bad, Ive used A&D ointment to help the peeling, sometimes a lotion isnt strong enough, it wont hurt when it peels, maybe just itch a lot

Yes! Because youre skin is burned. My husband got burned. He looked like a lobster!! lol..but when his skin started to peel, his back was sore still from the burn. After the skin fell off, he looked tanned. :) :)

the burn will hurt if you put lotion on it and the green aloe vera stuff it will help ease the pain but the peeling won't hurt... it may look a little unsightly though so keep lotion on it and don't peel it let it come off itself

No more than it hurts now. Buy some heavy duty sunblock though and avoid the sun at all costs until you are healed.

Remember what I read in Vogue about suntans......

"The glow is temporary....the damage is permanent".

Personally, I do not do that! It is tru taht the human body need some suntan, but not sitting on the beach and wait to be burned!

If it doesn't hurt already, then it definitely won't hurt while it peels. Make sure you keep your skin properly moisturized during the whole process.

when sunburns peel, they do not hurt at all unless you pick at the peeling skin and rip it off. that just makes it worse. for your sunburn you can try using banana boat medicated care with aloe.

It shouldn't hurt, but if you are burning you really should wear a sunscreen. Unfortunately our society believes that tan=healthy when in all reality tan=risking cancer. Take care of yourself now Hannah so in 20-30 years you will still be here sweetie.
