Foster Parent?

Question

Do Foster Parents recieve payment for caring for the children?
enough to properly care for them and supply them with the things they may need...I wouldn't want to take a child and then later have hardship/forcing me to return the child with added damage?

Ok, if you are thinking of doing Foster care it should be to help that child out not as a money making deal. I was a foster child and my mother never thought about the money, she only cared that I was taken care of properly. But if you are in it for both of those reasons then yes it does pay very well, you will get reimbursed for anything that you spend outside of what they give you for that child.

You do receive a payment each month. It varies by state. You can check how much it is and see if it is enough for you to provide for the child. You are right in not wanting to take a child unless you can provide well for him or her. You will make a great foster parent if you decide to do it.

I think that they do give proper care for these children, and I would love to be a foster mom but no body under stands that gay people can take care of children to,I have three children of my own and I can't understand these parents of why they have kids and don't want them if you know of someone that is young and pregnant and take on the responsibility of taking care of there child Please contact me at [e-mail] I will be glad to take the care of the child. Foster parents do receive payment for each foster child. Whether or not it's enough is a matter for debate.

They do in Australia, in the US im not so sure.....maybe getting in touch with the authorities and asking them might be a good idea
