Yes, With dawn dish soap. Wet the spot and add a few drops of the dawn dish soap. let set a few min, then wash as normal. I wouldn't put it in the dryer. If for some reason the dish soap don't get it out. Dry cleaning will do it also.
I have never seen dawn dish soap not get a grease or oil stain out.

Good Luck

I've had excellent results with the Tide stain stick. Apply the stain stick and wash the skirt in cold water. Check the stain after you wash it. If it's still there, apply the Tide stain stick again and re-wash. Don't put the skirt in the dryer until the stain is out. The heat may set the stain in.

Butter is tough. Go to the grocery store and look in the laundry section for these little yellow bottles, Carbona I think is the name of them. They make stain removers for specific types of stains and grease & oil is one of them. It should do the trick. Zout works well too, but I'd try the other first. Make sure the stain is gone before you dry it, once you dry it it'll set and harder to treat.

Put salt or powder on the butter stain, it's supposed to absorb the grease. Dawn direct foam cuts grease on dishes so it might work on fabric.
