The first Final Destination was awesome when it first came out as it was one of the few new, original ideas to come out of Hollywood in a long time.
The DVD with alternate ending options on Final Destination 3 was better than the theater version, but still liked Final Destination 2 the best out of the three. I thought Final Destination 3 was a little over the top on gore and a little lacking on character development that the first two movies had; if you don't like the character, you are less likely to be affected by their onscreen death.
Final Destination 3 lacked that likeability factor. Is pretty bad when your (my) favorite character in the movie was the sleezeball Franky Cheeks; yeah, he was a sexist pig, but at least his character was well defined.

I loved the first one. Scared me alot. Then the second one not so good. Third one I think did a good job. Made me scared of roller coasters for awhile. I definitely think they got gorrier as they went on. Especially the tanning salon scene in the 3rd.
