he died of old age. He was shot during the movie by the grave yard people but he lived.

In the movie - Skip dies of old age. I haven't read the book, but I do not believe that Skip was shot. Not sure what version of My Dog Skip you saw but Willie doesn't shoot him.

in the middle of the movie he shoots skip i dont no y though i 4got and at the end he dies of old age when the boy goes to college pic me plz and if u do thank u

Oh well, I didn't see that movie... so I'm guessing rabies as well.

Same thing with Cujo.

Looks like dog movies have bad endings. Except for Beethoven, and Todo on Wizard of Oz.
