My friend is turning 13 and we are looking into some birthday ideas.
She wants a sleepover with 5-6 girls, all from her church.
She loves make-up and fashion stuff also.
What are some ideas for themes or games or prizes?
She was thingking of a mexican or marti gras party but she also really likes girly stuff....
any ideas?
p.s. any food ideas or cool music ideas welcome.

All the girls are between the ages of 12 and 14, but most of them are 13.

you could have a project runway party. Get a bunch of old clothes and fabric, and some accessories and such. You could either do this on teams of 2 or each girl on her own. Set a time limit and create a new outfit. You could maybe have a parent or the other girls score each outfit, then have a prize for the winner. Maybe the prize could be something related to fashion.
That's just an idea. I used to have sleepovers for every birthday. Make sure you have plenty to drink, because we always used to get really thirsty running around and having a blast. If you want to do a Mexican fiesta, there are all sorts of things you could do. You could have a dance off, pinata, you could cook some Mexican foods, all sorts of things! And you can find all sorts of Mardi Gras related party ideas if you search the web. That seems to be a popular theme.
I hope this helped!

A fashion diva sleepover! Have a make your own mexican pizza or tacos with chips and salsa. There is a yummy mexican soda available in different fruity flavors. A Pinata. Then Fashion diva night. Buy mini bottles of nail polish hair clips and lipstick. Pop in an age appropriate movie with a mexican flare (I dont know if "once upon a time in Mexico is appropiate but it stars Brad Pitt). Then let the girls make each other up. There are also kits for making your own jewelry (in the toy isle). They would make great party favors. Just remember this is a party for them and not you. Good Luck. P.S. If this answer is redundant I am sorry my computer acted up.

Ok well, 13 is a huge year! I would ask her what she really loves and include that in her party. Let her pick the theme, and if your the planner, go with it. Rihanna, Hilary Duff, Jesse McCartney, or and other great artists are good for music. Include her favorite foods along with pizza, chips, ice cream, and other ideas. Watch movies too! Have fun!

How about a Mexican "day of the dead" themed party. Where everyone comes dressed up and at the party, you put the makeup that corresponds with their outfit. Then at the party, you can have a pinata and watch scary ghost movies and eat tacos and tell scary stories until you all fall asleep! :) Have fun!

do ur nails, get a ouija board, makeovers like a facial maske and stuff, listen to ur fave radio station before the party and if you have an ipod then put all the songs you hear that you like on ur ipod or burn a cd with those songs and play them during the party, or you can just listen to the radio during the party, play truth or dare, if you want you can make like truth cards and dare cards, get a bunch of magazines, maybe sleep in a tent

What do you and your friends like to do? Do you like to sing? Maybe your parents can rent a karaoke machine! Wouldn't that be fun?! Pizza is always a big hit! Do a cupcake decorating thing for the cake. Bake cupcakes and let each girl decorate her own cupcake!

It will keep them busy for a while, they will get a "prize", and they will have pride in making something they thought they could only buy ^_^
