Good news....I've found my soulmate! Bad news...we'll be spending time away from each other when I go back to school later this month.
I want to get him something to say "I'm still here...I love you forever". I would get a ring or a watch, but he's far too rock n roll for that ;D Any ideas?

I got a crystal heart with the word love carved into the bottom so when you looked at it from the top you could read the word and I wrote a poem to go with it and sent it to him and told him this was a piece of my heart to keep under his pillow so that I am always close to him and whenever he was feeling lonely to reach under his pillow and touch the heart and it would be like he was touching me.. I thought he might think it was cheesy but he really loved it.

Give him a replica of something his favorite rock star wear...I know that this is not much but its a start.
