My 21st birthday is next month and we are getting a limo and going out for the night, I wanted to get a cocktail dress to wear, does anyone have any ideas on where I should look? I do not wear dresses often, but I want it to be a really cute one!

Depends on what you like. My suggestion is to first picture how you WANT to look on your birthday. Do you look sexy? Elegant? Young? Fun? After you've decided the look that you want, think about length, do you want it full length, knee length, mini? After you've decided that, then start thinking about colors that look good on you, make sure that you get colors that actually look good rather than what you 'like.' I think yellow is a nice color but I can't wear any shade of it without looking sick. Then with all this in mind...go to the mall. If you're going to be bar hopping then you want a dress that isn't going to have a huge skirt for you to be tripping over and/or dragging. Also think about your shoes, if you're going to be dancing, though really high sexy stilettos may look nice but your feet will be killing you by the end of the night. Good luck and happy birthday!

hit the mall. Have fun looking at all the stores. Maybe even head to a formal shop that sells prom dresses.

Watters and Watters has gorgeous cocktail dresses. They are available through bridal shops. If you want to shop online, www.bluefly.com has a great assortment of dresses at massive discounts. You can search by size, color, price, etc.

i just bought an awesome dress from victoria's secret online. what i did was order a bunch of them, try them all on, then pick the one i liked best and sent the rest back! they have soo many to choose from and they're all adorable! and it's free shipping and handling for orders over $100!! good luck!
