1 - Don't strip at a dive bar. The tips aren't as good, the men are disgusting, and it's dangerous. If you can only get a job there, then you're not meant to be a stripper.
2 - Don't plan on making a career out of it. Once you're past a certain age, you'll only be able to get a job at a dive bar. No matter how good you look at 30, there will be 1,000 18-year-olds who look better. Sorry. Life isn't fair.
3 - Save your money and actually go to school during the day like all strippers say they do. Save enough for a down payment on a house, and start life ahead of the game instead of in debt.
4 - If you find yourself surrounded by people who are trying to destroy your self confidence or get you into drugs, run like the wind! You may think you're strong enough to resist, but they have a way of bringing you down without you even realizing it.
5 - There are upscale strip clubs where you can make a really good living without being subject to danger. (Usually no full nudity - just topless.) If you can't find one in your area, move to where there is one.
And finally, make sure that you are really ok with this. Will your friends and family know that you're a stripper? How would you feel if someone you know came to watch you? This is one of those bells that you can't unring. People will judge you for the rest of your life because of this choice. I'm not saying they're right, but they will be there.

Strippers and topless dancers are a dime a dozen. It is not a hard business to get into. They take all kinds of women, all sizes and shapes. It helps to have a good bod, but is not necessary.
If you live in a large city there are probably many places that you can apply. They take anyone. First thing you will have to do is do a strip or a topless dance for the owners. Be prepared.

i had some girlfriends that were and some that became strippers.
first, practice how to dance in front of a mirror. you don't want to embarrass yourself when it comes down to business. do this until you feel comfortable enough. then ask one of your girlfriends to watch and see what she thinks of your moves. make sure she isn't the jealous type and tells you her honest opinion.
second, go get some stripper outfits at one of those sex toy stores. very important are the clear high heel stripper shoes.
now look in the phone book and locate some "gentlemen's clubs" or just find out where the stip clubs are.
call them and ask them when they take auditions.
when you go there, don't dress up like a stipper, just dress sexy but not too slutty. sophisticated and sexy.
the rest is history

Don't do it. It'll erode your dignity, and I guarantee you'll regret it. Especially if you want to have strong relationships later. I can tell you that any man you get close with in the future will be pained at the idea of the woman he loves taking off her clothes in front of a bunch of rowdy, horny, drunk men. And then there are potential future children to think of....would you really want to explain to your children that you were a stripper? How would you feel about your daughter stripping?
Just lots of questions to ask yourself.

I wouldn't recommend it. There are other areas in the entertainment field that might suite you.
However, if you are determined then you need to start working on your physical fitness if you haven't already. That will give you skin tone and good shape as well as balance.
