I have seen Crash and it is a lovely episodic take on racism and culminates in a surprising and emotional ending. The writer-director Paul Haggis also wrote Clint Eastwood's Million Dollar Baby.

I was completely taken back by that movie. Never has a movie given me so many emotions in one shot. I think they did an excellent job with all aspects of the movie. They definitely deserved the award for Best Movie. I was suprised that it wasn't such a huge deal in the movies but then I watched in on Cinemax and couldn't believe I missed out on it before. I'm so glad it beat out Brokeback Mountain. that movie was horrible. Back to Crash, definitely excellent, a little disturbing, but that's how the real world works. Its a shame that there is so much of that hatred still left in the world.

I saw it some before it won the Oscar and believe me it is a masterpiece, the film is shocking and amazing.

I was not sure if I was going to like it but after I watched it I thought it was really good and well written.
