trying to find a way to clean all the slits..on the front of a window a/c unit....it's a royal pain!!!

ok..all i want to know is an easy way to clean the faceplate...of a window a/c....not the whole thing....without removing it from the window....the faceplate that is INSIDE the house

that faceplate is removeable .look at the bottom there is two clips pull down and out .then lift the cover up and out .

The best way I can tell you is to take it out of the window. Set it outside and spray the coil with a hose. Be sure to let the A/C unit dry before putting it back in the window.

I would suggest taking it to a car wash. I did and it worked great. make sure you let it dry good before plugging it in.
