The Bush Administration claims that Sadam was aiding terrorists, both militarily and financially. If true, whether or not Iraqis flew the planes or not, Sadam was aiding terrorism. Sadams ties to terrorism are not proven, but either way, we are there bombing, and the majority of the Iraqi people are pleased to see an end to the oppression from Sadam's regime, so at least our war isn't a total waste.

No, Iraqi's didn't fly planes into those buildings, terrorist did. The same kind of terrorist that Saddam was supporting and training in Iraq.
Saddam was also killing and torturing his own people and he needed to be stopped. Please don't say that is what our Military is over there doing now, because it's not true. We have a few jerks that have done some unspeakable crimes, but it has nothing to do with them being in the Military, and they weren't given orders to do these crimes! They are just evil people and they'll pay for what they have done. I'm talking about our troops that are there to do there job, and that is to make sure the Iraqi people don't have to live the way they were while Saddam was in power. I'm aware that there have been innocent civilians caught in the middle of these shootouts, conflicts, whatever you want to call them, but it's not the troops putting them in danger, it's these extremest that think Saddam's way is the only way, that continue to cause these conflicts and terror, and it's getting their own people killed.
So many people are quick to focus on our few bad soldiers, and the people who don't want the US Military there, but they never mention the ones who do want them there, or the troops that have brought so much good to Iraq. I've seen the pictures of US Soldiers playing with these Iraqi kids, holding Iraqi babies in their arms and giving them fresh clean water. I've seen the grown Iraqi men that have come up and shook the hands of our US Soldiers and thanking them for what they are doing over there.
Our Government isn't perfect, but they don't makeup who the terrorist are. The terrorist do that all on their own, they destroy lives, and our country is left to clean up the devastation.
I think American, Spain, Britten and every other country that has been faced with terrorism, have all suffered enough and it's about time that we put a stop to it. Maybe if more would have been done back in 2000 when the USS Cole was bombed, or even further back when the first attempt on the World Trade Center was made in 1993, maybe, just maybe, we wouldn't be where we are today. People want to lay all of this at President Bush's feet, but I think President Clinton (Who I personally was a big supporter of, and still like him a lot!) should have taken both of those incidents a lot more serious!
I just got done reading the answer above mine....

Fact: We were attacked on 11 September 2001.
Fact: this attack killed nearly 3,000 civilians.
Fact: the dead and injured were from of all types of derivations.
Fact: Those who attacked us were from fundamentalist Islamic terrorist groups.
Fact: These terrorist groups are dedicated to the death of the United States and Israel.
Fact: This is not the first nor the last of such attacks on civilians.
Fact: Some countries provided the terrorists and other countries aided and abetted them.
Fact: This is a war which has been on going for many years.
Fact: While there are challenges in western countries, they primarily focus on protecting individual rights.
Fact: The terrorists are anti individual rights easily demonstrated by their subjugation of women and those not of their religion.

It should be quite easy to understand what is occurring and easier yet to see what to support. If the terrorists win, individual freedom shall disappear.

Our government never said we were going into Iraq because they were involved in 9/11. You might want to read some speaches or the congressional authorization for war. We didn't call Saddam Hussein a terrorist we called him a ruthless dictator that might give weapons to terrorists.

Yes it was mostly non-Jews that were killed at the towers, your point is????

Al quada is not nice people. They have terrirorist training camps in Iraq and Iran. The only reason they haven't done more is because the CIA keeps catching them in the act.
They bombed innocent people in England which is our allie.
They bombed innocent people in Africa and chopped off arms and legs. Raped and took children as sex slaves. Denie food from other countries to them so they can let them slowly starve to death. Islamic terriorists are in every country and have done over 5000 terrirorist attacts all over.
Before you lose sleep over what is happening to them read this.

Because apparently we are supposed to ignore the facts and support our President no matter how bad it gets. I think Castro expects the same.
