You can never go wrong with Converse Chuck's you can wear them with anything from a T to a polo or even a skirt. Try Hollister, it is always fashionable and it is the brother store of Abercrombie & Fitch (only less expensive). As far as jewelry goes try some of the chunky bracelets, long necklaces with lots of colors, and dangle earrings and don't be afraid to mix and match the colors the more they don't match the more individual style you have. You can wear this type of jewelry dressed up or down, with polo's and jeans or dresses. Buy magazines like "Seventeen" or "Cosmo Girl" and check out what girls in there are wearing. Good luck this year and don't listen to anyone about middle school being hard or scary, it's just another step to becoming older and not much different than your last school, the older kids aren't mean or treat you badly, those are usually only rumors. Remember they were in your shoes once too!

Try to wear something comfortable but cute, maybe a skirt not too short with a preppy shirt and some nice shoes. look at magazines for some ideas they always help me out.. remember you have to make a good first impression because thats what people mostly remember, and remember most importantly have fun your in middle school.

im now in my second year of middle school and it really depens on what school u go to. but in my school, we were not allowned 2 wear flip-flops, or spagetti-straps/tank tops. i think the shirt law-thing is like that because all the time i see 8th graders wearing VERY REVEALING tanks... it gets annoying.

u should go to school wearing what you normally wear, dont try to be like someone else. and look into the shirt/shoes thing.

JEWELERY: just some nice earrings, maybe a necklace, but sure, go ahead and wear some bracelets! :) but absolutely NO on the spike'necklaces/bracelets... unless u r gothic, but even then i would advise u not 2.

SHOES: at my school, a lot of people wore the style 'Etnies'. that might be popular at my school, but maybe not others. So i suggest sneakers, or high-heels, but not TOO high! just like... an inch or 2 above ground. :)

CLOTHES: be yourself, wear what u like! but like i said, u probably shouldnt go into school on the first day wearing spagetti-straps. just wear like, a nice shirt and a skirt. have your own style!

but yeah... good luck in school!!!

wear anything u like and feel good in. Though in my opinion jeans and top look the best but still its ur own choice and try to go for comfort rather than style. Also better form ur own style rather than follow someone as most do.GOOD LUCK

Make sure you check with your school's clothing policy first. Simple clothes and jewlery with comfortable shoes. Your there to learn not walk the runway. Gap has cool kids clothes and accessories

wear comfortable stuff.... becuase you're going to be sitting, sitting, sitting, sitting (in rooms that aren't well vetilated) and sitting then walking walking walking walking. wear nice looking stuff don't try to be like "everyone else" that's lame.. well that always been lame at any time with fashion.

try to look sharp, neat, fashionable and clean... get the hair in a style that's going to benefit your head shape and keep you comfortable and is versitile too so you don't look the same all the time.

jewellery something simple... what i used to do was change the feel of my jewelery every season... fall would be gold and dark stones... winter, silver and light colored accessories... spring, neons, pastels... jingly things.--- hemp, chokers... leather that doesn't pinch... something summery... wood.

shoes... comfortable always if you want something that's feminine and professional like at times.. make sure the heals aren't very high and have a good width to them.. your feet will love you for it in the long run.. avoid high heels any time it's not comfortable and soon will hit you in the lower back and then around the shoulderblades.. soft slip on shoes are nice too.. they make loafers now of leather, canvas... sparkles.. sequins... embroidered... with a small heel or no heel... flip flops with beads that have a soft sole in it with support so your feet don't get that i've been standing too long feel.

also in the spring and summer... little anklets and foot jewellery may work, nothing overzealous just something enough to show.

rings.. i never enjoyed the all the fingers got you covered look... just one ring is enough but have enough to change every day or every so often from the small to the diva gaudy.

but don't load yourself down in either way with jewellery or clothing... in the winter work with layers that is constrasting and accessories which not only looks good but will work with you not against you in the cold weather.

bags? have enough to change them around from time to time... there's more than enough bags that are sturdy to hold all 900 of your books and homework.. that have dressings on them that are cool from glow in the dark, shimmery to see through...

there.

key is don't load yourself down don't do that madonna look of the 80s that was just icky.

:D

oh make up.. don't go and do that black liner around the lids.. that's old news.. makes ya look like a kid.. light amounts of mascara with shades of color that work with the style you're using for that day... don't try to hide your face with make up try to use it for the face work along your lines not against them.

the lighter and more inventive the better you'll look prettier and well more intellegent.

not like a raccoon redneck dork who's trying to be 10 years older than you are.
let that to the imbeciles.

:D
