well you can tell your friend to keep pushing.............as long as she keeps working hard and doing what she does best, a scholarship will come along.........and even if she doesn't get a D1 scholarship from the jump, she could go to a lower division school and do her thing there dor a while, D1 scouts go to those games, so she'll be fine

TELL your friend that i hope she spells better then you. collage is spelled COLLEGE, skool is spelled SCHOOL. stoped is spelled stopped, scolorships is spelled SCHOLARSHIPS.
You need to worry about yourself and hit the books, cause your grammar and spelling SUCKS>>>
NOW- if your friend plays ball and expects to go D-1 she sould be scoring about 15 points a game with a lot of rebounds or assists. depending on her position. if she is under 5 ft 11 she better score about 18 points a game as a guard. if she is a forward under 5 ft 11, she needs to score over 20 a game as she is short. If she is 6 ft or over= and not a guard. she better be scoring as a center or forward about 20 a game. if not, she wont make a D-1 team. she can make D-2 and get an academic scholarship.
if she cant get to college. the world needs ditch-diggers too. tell her and you to start digging..........
i coach womens basketball, so i know. later

If she just graduated then shes screwed school starts in like three weeks or so for most colleges. Otherwise if she is going to be a sr. this year then she has time, but she needs to work hard. I would tell her to focus on getting excepted to a college first and then worry about making their team. Every school has a team so if I were her I would worry about what college I would want to go to (basketball aside, as I said before every college has a team). So she needs to find colleges that offer her major and then apply to the ones that appeal to here.. One of them will except her. And as for the money she can always get loans and work while she's in school, but scholarships help.

What state are you in? She could still play at a highly respected community college for 2 years and transfer to a Div. 1 school. There's no shame in that at all. Many players who do this end up doing well in Division 1. I know in my area, Cedric Ceballos went to the CC around here, and he went on to play for the suns and lakers, I think he was even an all star one year.

I averaged 23.5 pts per game as a jr. and sr. but didn't get as many offers from colleges because I had bad post seasons because I had my head up my butt. she can still prove herself and tell her to just use this as Motivation!
