Currently VZW is selling the Chocolate for $199, $149 if you buy it online, in both cases w/ a 2-yr contract.
You qualify for New Every Two if you have a phone plan that costs over $39. If the plan's between $39 and $79, it's an up to $50 credit on a new phone, up to $100 is it's over $79.
Because you're asking to trade up early, the credit is prorated.
You can check your account online at VerizonWireless.com to see how much your New Every Two credit is at the moment.

you might be able to upgrade, but more likely you'd have to pay full price, or very close to full price.
