my boyfriend is going in college and I'm still in highschool. does anyone have any advice?? when you go to college you meet new people... should we break things off?

Most relationships when one is in college and the other is still home going to school It rarely works. Sorry hun but you are better off just being friends and you seeing other people. It will be difficult for him to continue the relationship if you live a good bit away from the college. Talk it over with him.

It's not just about the fact that he's in college. There's a few more factors:
1. Is he at a really small school? If so, cheating is a lot more risky as everyone will know who is hooking up with who on a small campus.
2. Did he join a fraternity? Not a guarantee for cheating, but fraternities offer a lot of exposure to large groups of women.
3. Are the posters different on the walls of his room versus when he was living at home. If there's a big change, it usually means he is exploring his new found freedom
4. How far away from the college are you?
I didn't have a girlfriend when I started college, but just about every guy I know that did, ended up breaking up.

My husband and I went out for 6 years before getting married. He went to school for 4 years in a row, and I went for 1 year. If you truly care for him or even love him you don't have to break it off. Look at us, we both loved eachother and trusted eachother and now we're married!
