I am getting it done at Claire's and I am using a regular ring, not on my cartilage.

Hint: Don't go to Claires. Reasons being, rubbing alcohol is not a sterilizer, piercings guns tear the flesh causing unnecessary pain, their earrings are not made with pure material, so infection is increased. Do yourself a huge favor, go to a tattoo shop, find a real piercer, get it done correct and worry about it looking cute later. If you are getting cartilage done, please be warned that the gun and piercing stud will screw that up if you aren't careful. Studs don't allow for movement to clean the piercing and don't allow room for swelling.

If you want something original go to bme.com and look up 'orbital'
I have a few of these, they are fun and different.

If you are not doing a cartilage piercing I think they are limited on where they can pierce you. If you could opt for a cartilage piercing you could pierce the top of the ear or even that little piece that kinda covers your earhole. Cartilage piercings are best done at a salon or tattoo parlor that specialize in them.

Why are you only getting the right one pierced? Ususally if that's done, it's going to be up in the cartlidge. I will say, stay below and somewhat away from the cartlidge if you want it to heal easily. Also, if it's at Claire's, the first earrring will be a stud since they pierce with a gun and studs are used to do that.

if u have yet to pierce ur ear... then place the hole as far as possible and wear a similar ring for old holes and a diffirent one for the new hole...... if u have already done, then try to wear ring which would be different in glare and apperance... it will really be appealing!!

to make it look cuter, i would say to get a small colored stud next to the first piercing so it doesn't look like you've over done it, also the colored stud will accent the first piercing

I were given my ears pierced first at the same time as i replaced right into slightly one. besides the undeniable fact that, then my mothers and fathers realized that I react to nickel in rings. They took my rings out and let my ears boost close. i attempted back at the same time as i replaced into like 8. This time at the same time as they were getting pierced between the guns were given stuck in my ear (do not do both ears promptly) and they back and back pierced it back and back till they could get it out. All i am going to say to that is that it harm. besides, so at the same time as it replaced into time to take the rings out, my acceptable ear's (the only which the gun were given stuck in) earring would not come out. A 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or 2 later my mom finally were given it out and who could blame me for no longer desirous to adhere the rings back into my ears? I let them boost close. i attempted back about a three hundred and sixty 5 days later in straightforward words to have it get contaminated and the persons stated to allow it boost close then, so I did. Then, about 2 years in the past, I were given the REpierced. I took each precaution short of having it carried out with a needle. No nickle, no rubbing alcohol, (particular ear stuff) and far of different precautions. besides, they nonetheless ended up getting contaminated, yet I merely took the rings out for more effective or less a week and washed them each evening back and then positioned more effective intense priced gold rings in for a at the same time as. (the female stated that with all my scar tissue and different holes in my lobes she theory that if this time did not workout i'd not be in a position to target back) they're tremendous, they have been tremendous, i'm now fifteen, and besides the undeniable fact that they often times get contaminated, that's no longer a huge deal. many times they get contaminated when I positioned on low-cost rings for too lengthy, yet they have in straightforward words been contaminated about 3 situations. besides, the point to my anecdote is merely to take caution and learn from my blunders. as long as you're taking the right steps each thing could bypass tremendous. Now i appreciate rings and positioned on the most important and maximum outrageous ones i am going to discover... reliable success! desire i could help! ~Jade
