oh there sure are.

along with grants that may help you in other fields pertaining to you single parenthood and in a situation.

just contact your local government office or go to city hall, sometimes they have brochures and you can make an appointment to talk to someone about this and maybe they can help direct you to where and what on this grant idea.

if you're an artist, teacher, minority, still in school or thinking about it or if you've given to the community or did community service... you can get grands that have something for you and not just what you want to do but can't at the moment.

to talk someone in the city, if someone gives you the run around there's others who won't... i know sometimes it's a pain in the anus trying to get someone in the goverment who knows what you're talking about and who knows what's there for you to offer you in any time of your life whether you're needy or you have a project that will benefit your family and or others.

there's sites online just key in grants and your state, or go to your government sites about your state and key up anything about grants and services.

every state has it, if you don't find it right away just call the government office number that comes closest to what you're looking for and someone should help you and if you get the run around do try others.

hell some states have grant offices, if it's real bad talk to the city or country representative, someone in their office could guide you also.

good luck.

Use the link below-it doesn't matter if you are a single parent. It is just a first time buyer grant that they give you (after you qualify). It has to do with your salary not your credit.

Good Luck

There are many programs out there. Both state and county. I would contact a Realtor in your area to help you with this. A mortgage broker will also be up to speed on what is available.

there are lots of them. your best bet is to find a knowledgable realtor and let him/her do the work while you relax. there won't be a charge unless you buy a house, and in some cases, no charge at all.
