Santana is on the way up, Schilling's on the way out.
Santana will be a perrenial CY Young candidate for the next few years, I think Schilling would be happy with 15 wins and an ERA under 4 next year.

BTW Beckettgirl - Curt's retiring AFTER the 2007 season, not this year.

Santana is a young stud, and he isn't going to get any worse for a while, unless injury occurs.

Schilling, while still very dominant, does not possess the nasty stuff that Santana has (Change Up to go with a 95 mph FB)

Santana because he is in his prime while Schilling is on the other side of the mountain.

Santana, alot younger and getting better. Schilling is on the downside of his career.

Easy. Santana is in his prime, Schilling (though still pretty good) is on the downhill side of his career.

Schilling. it will be his last season and he will want to go out with a bang. the Red Sox will win the world series and Schill will win the Cy Young.
