You can in theory, but there are many low cost attorneys who handle these simmple things, and the new law is tricky.

Yes you can, you can buy the forms, fill them out yourself, and file them yourself at your district's bankruptcy court.

I strongly recommend you use a lawyer instead, people dont realize the problems that can "pop up" during the bankrupcty process that you will need a lawyer for.
