Give me details. I was horrified when I was listening to a lecture given our class by a police officer yesterday. He said that they like nothing better than ruining people's day. Has this happened to you?

Wait a minute - the cop actually said that? What an asshole and one that does not deserve to be in uniform! That is not true at all! The last time I was stopped, actually my friend was, was 3 a.m. this past Saturday morning. We were lost in South Bend (long story, that town is the real Bermuda Triangle) and our rental vehicle had no taillights, which we were not aware of. He was nice, gave us a warning, instructed us to inform the rental agency, and also directions to return to our hotel. Seriously - he was nice as could be.

By the way, both my boyfriend and my dad are cops. The former it is definitely not his intent to ruin his day and with both...if you want your day ruined, they will gladly do it. Just act like an ass and a moron and do not comply and have attitude - then your day will be ruined.

i do no longer think of that is purely a bluff. despite the fact that in case you and your persons names/dob/ and different information substitute into jotted down in a rest room paper, it is going to likely be mentioned to the station if any complained is delivered out relating to the toddler's play centre which as you mentioned is park with swings and slide. If the owner of the park ***** of damages or lost to the police station and this officer take place to write down your call at the same time along with your persons, he could be a witness that he accosted you and your persons to be in that region in some particular date. Why might you adult adult males climbed over a fence in basic terms to take a journey interior the swings interior a locked park? have not you adult adult males plenty greater perfect issues to do in life than to invade locked parks? If there are actually not any complained relating to the parks you purely invaded then no longer something will take place to you or your persons. Nope the police won't come on your dwelling house except as I mentioned if there's a ***** then you will see uniform law enforcement officials down on your dwelling house. i'm hoping you adult adult males learn something in this episode and in no way, in no way climb fences while it extremely is locked or you adult adult males would be detain for tress passing.

This is a true story that could of been a nightmare. I was 16, had just gotten my driver's license. I was going to summer school. The first day during archery class my purse was stolen out of my locker. (It was not at my usual school, where I wouldn't of had to worry) I went home after class, parked the car in the driveway. My older brother pulled his Karmenghia in behind me. A bit later in the afternoon I wanted to go up to 7-11 and get an Icee so I asked brother if I could just use his car. I got around the corner then noticed a police officer following me. He turned on his lights so I pulled over. He approached the driver's side and asked me "Where are the bumpers & license plates for this vehicle?" "Oh, my grandpa is going to paint the car for my brother so he took them off." I replied. "Well, let me see your license & registration." "I'm very sorry officer, my purse was stolen today in PE so I don't have any ID". It really goes downhill from here. "All right, miss, how about the registration?" I opened the glovebox and out rolled a vial of marijuana seeds. Thank goodness he didn't see it! I threw it back into the glovebox. Then I turned around to see if brother had possibly thrown the registration paper into the back seat since he was not known for his tidiness. The whole back seat area was FULL of beer bottles! (THAT'S what had been rattlling!) My heart jumped up into my throat. At this point the officer asked me to step outside the vehicle. I explained to him where I was going & why I happened to be driving that car. I thought I was a goner, I was going to jail, & the car would be impounded. To top it off, the neighbors started coming out of their houses to see what was going on. I was so embarrassed! This is what he said to me. "Young lady, you seem like a nice person who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. You shouldn't be driving barefoot, but I want you to get back into this car, turn it around, and drive back home. If you want an Icee, have someone take you. I'm going to follow you home. Park this car off the road. When I see you walk into the front door, I will leave. And get your license back." So that's what happened. I drove the little illegal car back home, the officer followed me, I walked into the front door and he left. THEN I started in on my brother. But that's another story! (ps-my purse was found the next day in a trash bin minus what little money I had in it, so I didn't have to go get a duplicate license)

It could of been so much worse!!! That policeman, bless his heart, was a nice man.

I've been stopped for running a red light (got out of it, my friend open the door and threw up), running a stop sign (got out of it, told the officer I normally exit from the lot, but they moved the spaces. It was late, I was going home and was sober (it was on a University campus) and polite, so he let me off.) and 3 or 4 times for speeding (never got out of it.).
And then once on a warrant on my car (it wasn't on my license so they couldn't arrest me). That time got an idiot friend of a friend handcuffed and got us all lectures, but fortunately, no trip to jail.

What was the context of what he was saying? I doubt he was talking about ruining the day of an average everyday law abiding citizen. If I was a police officer and was arresting people who are committing crimes then I would enjoy ruining their day too!

It's been a good 2 years since I was last stopped - for speeding! One cop pulled me over - I pulled into a service station and then 4 other cops "showed up" to help him?? Anyway, I didn't get a ticket, they gave me some "field tests" - I passed - or was borderline. He suggested/advised me that I needed to park my car and he called me a taxi.

The p[roblem, the guy with the parking ticket problem has the same name as i do, so it was wasted.

I got arrested for skateboarding at a public school. they threw me in jail and charged me with trespassing, because there is no law against skateboarding. the judge ruled us innocent because you can't trespass on public property! Some cops are real numbskulls!!!
