"The non-emaratis are expatriates working and living in the UAE. However, they are unable to be naturalized as UAE citizens or be granted permanant residency, even though many of them have been working there for decades. Only marriage to a UAE national, enables one to obtain UAE citizenship."

UAE is the only country that you can't not get the citizen ship, no even if you married with a guy from there, you can work , but and live there for years , some one told you that if you get married but that's not truth , I know very well , and I live there before, I have friends married but after all this years there are residents but nothing more.

if u are lady u can acquire citizen ship through marriage with an local guy and if u are guy u can never unless u got fantastic contacts with sheikhs of uae
i was born here and my age is 22 i hardly visited my hometown and still i am known as non national
