Her goal is to make herself feel powerful by making you lose your cool; don't fall for her trap if you can help it at all.
Avoid her as much as you can, but when you do have to deal with her, stick to facts and don't let her pull you off of the matter with snide comments or digs; either ignore them or tell her point blank "that is not the issue here, the issue is (whatever the issue is) and repeat it like a broken record until she gets a clue or until you are fed up, then tell her that you have reached an impasse at this point in time, but when she is ready to discuss the subject (whatever it is) to give you a call, but not until then.

Wow! The most effective factor I can endorse is that C isn't emotionally capable to be in one other courting. It turns out that he's no longer over his ex, and perhaps that is on the grounds that she left him...? Perhaps you must permit him pass now on the grounds that you're making an investment your feelings and existence in anyone who isn't to be had. A courting ought to have believe and there undoubtedly, and rightly so, is not any in yours. They are nonetheless tied to eachother by way of the children, although they're adults, and its as much as him to set bounderies. Seems he is not capable to take action. Don't wait round for her to get worried with a person once more to observe she's the one that ever units any bounderies. He is also there for her as an emotional again up for his complete existence. You must come to a decision wherein and if you slot in there. I want you the entire nice.

It takes two to fight. I know it's difficult, but ignore the statements, tones, body language, and all that stuff that just begs for a retort. Keep your tone and facial expression pleasant. Be as polite as possible. Someone who won't fight back isn't a lot of fun. It will diffuse the situation, and, a plus for you, it will drive her a little crazy.

Do business with her? What are you talking about? Are you two partners in a business or married. Maybe you should speak to her like she's your wife and not your fellow board member.

Try doing it by mail. Send a certified letter or registered letter if this involves money. If this is about children, shame on her for teaching her children to be negative. If this involves children and she wants to be ugly, l suggest you have someone else pick up the children for you. Seems like there needs to be a Moderator in this.

Tell her you are not here to fight, that you are there for business and that is it. Tell her you would like to do this in an adult way. If anything meet in a public place unless she likes to argue in big crowds. But she sounds like she needs to grow up and act her age.
