Not really, I wanted a different name since I was a little girl. Something common like Sarah or Elizabeth but my name has grown on me. I don't have a unique name either, it is common but not as common as Emily. Now that I am older, I won't change my name, even if people say I act like Monica from friends.

I like it now, but didn't when I was younger because it was too weird. Everybody else was named Mary, Susan, Diane, Laurie, Kathy, etc. and mine was different and some people couldn't seem to pronounce it correctly.

Appreciate the uniqueness of it as an adult.

If the Rugrats hadn't been created I would love my name. I like it, but I hate telling people my name is Angelica because then I get all the "spoiled blonde brat" jokes. I'm not blonde, I'm broke not spoiled, and I can be tempermental but I'm not a brat! The name is beautiful and has beautiful meaning...but T.V. has yet again ruined another good thing!

Nope. My mom made mine up on cannabis induced labor pain relief.........So I have gone by the shortened version since I could remember. Kids are freaking cruel, ya know? And the only teacher that would not use my short name was my b*tch of a 3rd grade teacher, cause she hated me. Once I got to college, when someone heard my legal name, they would say how pretty it is....but not to me.

Yes but, when I was born it was the 3rd most popular name for little girls in the united states. for the next five years or so it was in the top ten. Every where I went, there was another Susan.
If anyone is pregnant out there, don't give your kid a too popular name please.

I like mine, but I don't think it's for me. Stephanie sounds like a pretty person's name. My name should be Rasputin or Osulphus or something crazy like that.

hmm.. yes and no.
i like how my name is unique in the spelling.. linsey, without a d or an a. but it's really annoying when people spell it wrong.

in 6th grade i went through a phase where i wanted it to be spelled "lyndzey" or something like that.. not sure what i was thinking.. haha.

it didn't last long.

My name is Brandi and I have days when I like it and days when I think "couldn't my mom have given me a non-stripper name?". My sister's name is Rhiannon and I used to be so jealous of her because she had an uncommon name. I love uncommon names. I named my son Lawton. I tolerate my name, so I am half and half.
