What is the current cost of living figure in the US?

I need to put together a compensation pkg for a committee. COLA is important to this.

I've attached the Social Security Administration's cost of living adjustment history, as well as a calculator from the BLS. Realize that there are many ways to calculate COLA, and they can all be correct within their perspective. I hope this information helps.
