no more romantic walks along a shore in the moonlight. No more inspiration for aspiring lyricists. Wolves will stop howling, werewolves will be free of their curse, Hollywood will be stuck for atmosphere, women wont get PMT so no more excuses for murdering their husband, future generations will scoff at us for believing a big planet was in the sky and it didnt fall down, chicken little will be out of a job .........nooooooo its too much!

Well for one, the moon is the reason for the ocean tides. Imagine the repurcussions of not having tides anymore. The moon has affects on all forms of life on Earth, including the human body. The moon helps maintain the ecosystem, and sometimes the environment. True, aliens would be awesome to look at for a while, but they wouldnt make the oceans move.

Well if they nuked the moon to the point where it wasn't there any more then we would all die. We would probably all be flooded because it has such a large effect on the ocean. The worst part is peices of the moon would be pulled toward earth in the explosion and we would have a hail of rock slamming into earth.

we wont have a moon, but who cares because we will have alien spaceships to look at in the night instead,
on a more boring point, the tides would be a danger to the coasts as the moon controls the tides also we may have more people acting funny, because if the moon controls water and we are mainly made up of water, and the moon suddenly goes!!!!!!!

Why the hell would they want to blow up the moon?If they were smart eneough to get here,they'd be smart eneough not to blow up the moon,unless they caught the George Bush bug.

Someone was watching Big Brother last night ! jajajajjajjajaja...and apparently, the climatic and tidal changes in the planet would be so severe that the world would come to an end.

I'm sure it'll screw up the tides and several creatures circadian rythms and sense of direction. There will be chaos, but it wouldn't mean the end of the human race.
