does it happen instantly no matter where it is sent? have you had to fax to paypal before?

it takes seconds for it to transmit, I have noticed that it does take longer if I send a fax to a farther distance, but normally not a substantial amount of time. I've never had to fax paypal anything

The receiver should get it right away. When you fax you get a message letting you know it was sent. If doesn't go through they get a message stating that it was unsuccessful.

it depends on the number of pages you receive. It is received instantly (in the same time with the sending), but if there are more pages it might take a couple of minutes
