Yes. for a long time, we tought liver cells could not regenerate. one of my friend has had a liver surgery. she had to get remove half of her liver. but even with only the half left, she lives a normal life and her liver cells are regenerating normally.

yes, liver cells are able to regenerate, but if the cells are damaged too much, it will begin to increase in size and become a problem.
