Jeff was the mannequin. Jodie was the sales person. (Both were actual people) Sam was the night watchman and Muffy was the resident mouse. (Both were puppets)
The plot was basically that Jeff was brought to life by a Magician (might have been named Waldo... can't remember) when he put this checkered cap on his head.
He was a real person until the cap came off, then he became a mannequin. Every show was about their adventures in an empty department store overnight. Played locally on TVO.
I can't believe I remembered that. I think I always wanted to get stuck in a department store overnight when I was 8 or 9 years old.

The show was called "Today's Special." It also included a security guard named Sam that was also a puppet and he had an old crank car. Other than that, I don't remember a whole lot about it.

The name of the show is "Today's Special." Jeff was the puppet, Jodie was the store manager, and there were a handful of others.

Yes, I remember that show. It was called 'Today's Special' and I LOVED the little mouse. She was so cute. And, no, the guy who played Jeff (the manequin) was NOT the same guy who played Greg Brady as someone else said. His name was Jeff Hyslop.
