i was watching the discovery channel last night and they were talking about an apollo mission were two astronauts reported seeing ufos and even took three pictures. they played the audio recording and showed the pictures.

that is also what ground control said to the astronauts they asked them if it was the booster that had fallen off but the astronaut told them no i can see the booster and the other object. i agree with you that it could have been anything and i dont believe in alien space craft but i am curious what they saw. i remember them telling ground control that it had been trailing them for a day before they reported it. so if u know what could travel as fast as the spaceship? there was more than just this one report, other astronauts have reported it also, i dont remember who or when exactly but another time i know it was a women astronaut that repoted it also as they were orbiting. it was a very interesting show!

also when they were talking to the women she reported it and immediately after (before they even responded) they switched from the public broadcast to private. why would they do that? i dont think that they are trying to cover anything up

I have no trouble believing that they saw things they could not immedciately identify, but you must remember than 'UFO' means unidentified OBJECT, not Alien Space Ship. Most UFO's are identifed as weather balloons, kites, airplanes, in other words as mere terrestrial OBJECTS.

Now, as far as the astronauts go, they were being launched into orbit, and higher than any weather balloon or kite or aircraft could go.So, what were the objects...? There are several other possibilities.
