When I go into ebay or autotrader, my computer takes me straight back to my wallpaper screen-where all the icons are. Why is it doing this? I have tried turning my security off, and it makes no difference. Can anyone help-it is very frustrating

it seems you have hardware conflicks or trojen(s) which tr(ies)y to open lots of port and your cpu is overloading.. keep you on secure use anti spywares like spybot with an antivirus or check all of your hardware drivers. They are just most common solitions, if I try to explain all reason, it will takes very long and this space will be not enough

You may have a virus or other bug. to check, go here (it takes a while, be patient- and don't close your browser!):-
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

There may also be a problem with old/incompatable graphic card drivers. Go to the manufacturers (usually Nvidia or ATI) and get the latest drivers for your card. (set a restore point first -if your unsure)
