Men i think are easier to excite in comparison to women which is why they have orgasm faster.
As for waiting longer before having an orgasm, a man can stop as he feels the orgasm coming and starting again when it goes down or even changing position within the period are some of the ways to wait longer.

First, the male HAS to orgasm in order to proceate, the female does not. It's hard to last longer, it turns us on ALOT to be with you ladies, but to last longer, we have to think about like baseball or something and that can sometimes cause us to lose our woody you would be mad at us for that. That's why the old TV or movie joke is guys trying to think about baseball or manly things to try to keep them from getting excited. lol But we can exercise our "holding " muscles and keep the orgasm from passing completely through there fore lasting a little longer. But once we get to a certain point there's no turning back! That's also why Doctors say it's good to fantasize...it helps go in the other direction.

Some men can learn to suppress their orgasms for a longer period of time. I think it just takes some practice and imaginative thinking ;P

he could try the stop and start method.
as he feels his orgasm building up, he then slows down almost stopping. once the "feeling" has passed he starts going again.. and does this till he feels ready to have the orgasm.
this will also feel good for you, his partner..
it won't be a get in get off get out situation...

he should get the "extended pleasure" condoms. they have something on them that kind of numbs the penis a little so you still feel the pleasure but don't orgasm too fast.
