I was shocked when recently found his June 2005 obit on the web. I've found no other information. Can anyone up there in Bangor fill me in?

JOHN SUPRANOVICH JR.

BANGOR - John Supranovich Jr. died unexpectedly June 20, 2005. John was born Feb. 15, 1945, in Portland, to John Supranovich Sr. and Arlene (Farran) Supranovich. He attended Deering High School and the University of Maine. John proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. A Bangor radio personality and talk show host for many years, John is best remembered as the founder and executive director of Northeast COMBAT, Inc. the consumer organization he led for 33 years. Mr. Supranovich was predeceased by his parents; beloved aunts, Irene and Phyllis Farran; and his uncle, Raymond Farran. He is survived by his beloved wife, Editha Supranovich and daughter, Misty Young of Bangor; daughters, Laurie and Shari Cochran of Yarmouth; granddaughters, Brittney and Grace Lorrain; and stepdaughter, Michelle Winchester. The time and date of a memorial service will be published at a later date. Those who wish may make contributions in John's memory to Northeast COMBAT, Inc., P.O. Box 1183, Bangor, ME 04402-1183, or to benefit his family through a restricted donation to Northeast COMBAT. "The good men do is often interred with their bones."
