Hi Ella, you can have a pregnancy test .A pregnancy test is an over the counter pack containing an absorbent and an a progesterone scale.Simply dip the stick to the urine compare it to the hormone parameter as indicated.A positive result shows your may be pregnant.Remember anyway that the actual confirmation of pregnancy is the ultimate delivery of the baby.
Let us now assume that the last date of your last menstruation is today the 8 th of August, 2006 ,then your EDD-(estimated date of delivery) will be +or - 7 th of may 2007 which is about 40-42 weeks, your obstetrician will be of great help in that regards. Good luck thinking of the name?

Is this really a serious question? If you are pregnant and have not seen a doctor that would be my first suggestion! Then for some things that you need to know during pregnancy go to the library and check out a book called: What to expect when you are expecting
This will tell you pretty much everything you need to know! Also talk to the doctor and he should give you an estimated due date! Good luck and God bless!

Dear lord. There are some dumb questions around.
You can give birth at any time, full term or pre-term.
Before 24 weeks is called a miscarriage.
Before 37 weeks is pre-term.
Between 37 - 42 weeks is term.
After 42 weeks is post-term.
One would hope you will give birth at term.
Your doctor or midwife will surely give you an estimated due date?
There is no way of knowing when you will give birth, unless you have a planned c-section.
Does your mother know you're out?
Your poor kid.

Hi there, congratulations!!
Ok, try to remember, have a calendar and check the day 1 of your last menstrual period.
Then get into this website and when you enter that day into this calculator, it can give you an estimate due date.
http://pregnancy.about.com/cs/pregnancycalendar/l/blpregcalc.htm
(copy and paste the whole line in case it appears broken)
Good luck!

usually between 38 and 42 weeks of pregnancy. You will be given estimated due date but could be either side of this about 2 weeks. Your scan will give you a rough idea.

In normal circumstances after nine months from your pregnancy date, you would be able to give birth to a new child.

Last I checked this is not Yahoo General Hospital
Look in your phone book and find an OB doctor and find out when you are due to have the baby.
