It's only on one side of the fabric, not soaked through, and it is dried.

How old is the stain? best thing to try is cold salt water, just sponge the stain with it without rubbing, let it sit and do again, (salt water is the best thing for getting blood out of everything) keep doing this till the stain goes, DONT try any chemical stain removers or use heated water. Just keep sponging with cold salt water let it dry then do it again till its gone, if this doesnt work, i dotn fancy your chances of getting it out. (us girls know this stuff cos we have to deal with periods)

If it is machine or hand washable, soak in cold water & take a small brush and loosen the blood as much as you can. Then spray a bunch of oxyclean spot treatment on it and wash as usual. Check it before you put it in the dryer to make sure the stain is gone...if not repeat the process. Do not dry because you'll set the stain for life. Or take it to the dry cleaners and ask them to remover the spot for you.

Peroxide will bold out the stain fresh or dried. Then wash.

You can also scramble an egg put it on the stain fresh or dried then wash the next day.

Most importantly don't use hot or warm water. It will set a blood stain. Use cold water.
