I think the 80's version. At least for me. It's kinda an 80's cult classic. I think remakes like Miami Vice and some other 80's remakes of recent take away from the originals. (Dukes of Hazzard, to name another disapointing remake)

The latest, not many knew about the remake of the old one quite frankly because they didn't know about it so they went to the movies (recently) in hopes of a classic ( dirty cops) although there are many other movies liek that today ( Training Day, Dukes of HAzzard, Dirty, 4 Brothers... and I can't think of anymore but stuff like that) but yea i'd say the newst would be a favorite to the younger crowds and more popular but for the older crowds the 80s version because it's kind a cult classic but they would probly go for the newst aswel...so either way it both gets back to the newest one..

In the 80's I guess Don was very popular, but now I think that Colin Farrell is more popular.

Lets see .... two 80s testosterone filled self-absorbed pretty boys ... or two 00s testosterone filled self-absorbed pretty boys ...
At least we can laugh at the 80s clothing ... so I'm going with the 80s.
