I am MRICS qualified and currently project manage construction of oil and gas pipe lines all over the world. I would like to live in London and not take a drop in salary (£60k tax free). Any ideas on what you can do from this job. I am 29. I am very practical and a good problem solver and technical rather than creative

Work for the local authority as a planner.
building surveying - get to be nosy round peoples houses instead of looking at the sea.

Estate agents - valuer.

Lots of different things you can do - especially with MRICS qualification.

Good luck x

How about a project manager on a building site? Im a trainee architect and thats fun but as you say you are not creative I would go for the organising. You can take courses in this 1 day a week etc!
Good luck with wahtever you do, I may meet you on site one day!
