#7 was our original friend, he got married, she was nice at first, but the rest of us now, feel like we have to walk on egg shells around her. It also feels to all of us that she is trying to pull him away from his friends. #7 has been my best friend for 15 years, and this has put a huge rift in our relationship. We had a good enough friendship that I brought it up to him one night, and he obviously got defensive. Can 6 out of 8 people be wrong in this situation? #7's wife acts as if she has done nothing wrong, but how can we all feel the same way, and there not be something behind it?

The group consists 4 married couples. All have been friends for a really long time,a nd don't really want to just throw the friendship away. #7 and his wife are aware of all of our feelings.

Mabey you should leave it alone, u are treading on thin ice when it comes to getting envolved in some one elses marrige.
if you all cant stand her then maybe you could distance your self from the two of them and in the end you will either decide that you can learn to bear her for the sake of your friend or maybe your friend ship just wont be the same but this woman is his wife and i doubt he will drop her for his friends.

It always happens in groups of friends doesn't it?! I am sure you guys are probably right. However, #7 loves this woman so of sourse he will get defensive about her. This may never change. It is best to just try to put up with her the best you can. Maybe when the rest of you get steady girlfriends or wives one of them may like her and make things easier for you guys. Good luck!

Good luck! I say dont talk to him till he can grow some balls and realize that his wife is controlling his life! There is nothing worse than being in a relationship with someone whose wife/husband controls everything about them. Go see the movie You, Me and Dupree! Its hilarious! Anyways.... Id just stop hanging out with him all together, when he asks why you dont invite him anymore, just flat out tell him... None of us like your wife, and till she starts acting more adult like.... we dont want her around us.
