you just pray and ask God to help you through this hard time in your life!!!! And eventually its OK to start loving again ,just always keep this first love in your heart!!!! no one can compare to him or her but happiness is still out there if you are willing to let it in!!! Best wishes

I have walked in your shoes, lost my husband to cancer 3yrs ago. You will hurt a long time, but you can and have to go on. You will never love anyone like you loved the person you lost, but you can love again. You can't replace them, but you can find someone to fill the void in your life. I was married for 42 yrs at this time I'm not looking for a love relationship, but I do have a friend to go to dinner with, take in a movie and Etc, and for now that's enough for me. Thing will happen in the right time, Find a hospice support group, its free and they are a great help. You didn't say who you lost, but if its a spouse, parent, child, or someone just dear to you they can help. Good luck, and God Bless. An remember everything happens for a reason.

You can go on.. in time, the pain will heal (it sounds cliche but it is true - i know, ive had my heart broken a few times) - the time heals, you will find new love and learn to enjoy life again.
Do something you've never done before to take your mind of him/her - go travelling for instance?? good luck : )

you need to carry on. Death of a person whom you love is not the end of everything. Anybody can be a part of your life.. not your life. You need to live for others who love you.. think over it.

My two oldest boys father past away suddenly. We were together for 8 years. We all dealt with it differently but what helped the most was counseling. I am now getting remarried 9-2-06. Please get into counseling.
