Well, if you conceived say on June 18, then from June 18 until now that is about 5 1/2 weeks.

....if you last period was on june 3 (according to my physician's conception wheel) you would be 9 weeks pregnant on Aug 4. when you conceive you are SAID to be 2 weeks pregnant already ALTHOUGH YOU WERE NOT. the first day of your cycle is said to be day one of your pregnancy.
what i am assuming happened, however, is that you did NOT OVULATE during your june 3 cycle. i am guessing by the 5.5 weeks that the ultrasound detects that you ACTUALLY became pregnant around July 13... which would have been an undetectable cycle to you because you assumed that you were pregnant in a cycle that you didn't ovulate, hence no period, hence a new cycle began without your knowledge. don't worry about it, this is common! please ask your doctor any questions that you have and discuss any concerns. if you aren't comfortable enough to talk freely with your doctor, find one you are comfortable with.
here is a "due date" calculator... this may help you determine when you really conceived based on the ultrasound data... and it will prove all of the answers before mine INCORRECT:

My last period was also june 3rd, and when I had an ultrasound, it said I was only 5 weeks, 6 days, when I should have been 7 weeks, 3 days. So I have to go back on Thursday for another ultrasound. I told them I conceived about June 20th, but they think I did around June 25th, which is strange, because that's when I started getting pregnancy symptoms. We could be having small babies, who knows. I'll know more about my situation on Thursday. If you want, you can email me at sweetspice03@comcast.net

The date of conception is what matters........thats what determines the amount of weeks for you. So you should be about 5 1/2 weeks...thats correct. Dont be worried or confused......if you were nine weeks pregnant, then you would have had your last period about 11 weeks ago, which is almost 3 months ago. See what I mean?? Sounds like the baby is fine...so enjoy your pregnancy and stop stressing.....!!! God bless.

You must have counted an extra month in there some where. 5 1/2 weeks would be about right, give or take 5 days.

Not an exact science, most dates are really just a best guess.
