That is up to you and depends on your relationship with you friends and parents.

It can be a lot of fun to talk to your friends about a crush on a boy. It can also be good to share your thoughts with your mom. She can tell you about what it was like when she had crushes on boys and give you good advice.

But it's hard to tell someone these things if you can't trust that person. You don't want this person to blab your secret. So think about who you want to tell and think about how much you trust that person.

Then follow your heart, trust your instincts and do what you think is best. The more you talk to your mom now about these things, the easier it will be to talk to her later when your questions become more serious.

Well, how do you feel about it? If you don't feel like you are ready to share that kind of information with anybody yet, then you don't have to. It's your privacy. I remember that I once had a crush on someone, but I wasn't ready to share that information with anyone for a few years. I did eventually tell my friends, but that's only because I was ready. Tell your parents and friends when you are ready.

Parents are the best people to talk to because they love you and will never give you advice that will harm you. Also, they will always keep things confidential. I might tell a friend or two but only if I am 100% sure they can keep a secret!!

It's okay to tell your parents and friends. Just make sure it's just a little crush. Nothing big that your parents might now approve of. :D

Hi SB,

U r just 13 years old as u have mentioned in your previous question.
In my opinion (if you have mentioned your correct age), this is not the right age of having a CRUSH on somebody.
Just concentrate on your STUDIES,wont do anything SILLY(I hope you understand what i want to say) by which in future you & your parents have to feel ashamed of your childness.
I need a revert back from your side "whether I m correct in my opinion or not".

Bye
Take care
(Ur wellwisher & friend)

If you need some help then feel free to contact / mail me.
(A friend in need is a friend indeed)

If you don't mind the boy finding out, then tell your friends. As for telling your parents about it, well, I think anyone should be able to tell their parents anything. Howeer, realistically, I realize that not all people's relationships are ideal... so yes if you're close with your parents, no if your not.....

Well, how old are you? Are you able to date guys at this point? I would talk to your parents about it. Then go from there. Does he have a crush on you?

Your parents maybe, but don't tell your girl friends too much.
I had one friend who if I told her someone I liked, she went after him & usually nailed him that night. After I stopped telling her, she would watch who I talked to, & nail anyone I talked to.
You would think by reading this, that I was a teenager, but this happened in my young adult life, in my 20's up to my 30's.
Some people never grow up.
