very talented, love the poster but the vibrant colors and elaborate patterns in the background compete with the foreground alittle too much, its hard to focus on the typefaces. you want to draw the audience into your poster by image or color but then captivate them in the important text, i.e. headlines. try increasing the transparency of the background or using more low key greens and reds and yellows.

Think its cool, ask the prof for his reason to reject the same. Also
* Did he ask for it ?
* Has he already selected something he thinks is better suited for the occasion ?
* Were u trying to show off , generally this does put ppl off.

I think that is pretty darned good,. Just cos one place turned it down I wouldnt give up.. you do have talent for sure.. keep going..
