Well I think maybe I'd bring the wife back into the house and put the dog in the garage.

My ex got pissed when I did the same thing to him! He just didn't understand that I had been having my dog way before I met him! The nerve of some people! I just told him that if he didn't like the garage that he should look for other accommodations.

If she is so unhappy with the new bedroom situation, I suggest moving her out of your life completely and keep the dog. At least the dog wags their tail with happiness, doesn't gripe/complain.

She may need to seek counseling since you are clearly a concerned , sensitive man who is only trying to please her.
Oh, have you thought of sending her to an allergy doctor ?
I think you need to remind her what a find she has in you. There are certainly not many like you left.
