Does any1 know hot unlock this type of phone?

I have a cingular sony ericsson T290a phone but i want to swicth to tmobile and I need to unlock the phone but i have any money to unlock anywhere so i ned the code or soething to unlock it

Technically, if you had your service for more than 3 months your mobile carrier should provide you with the code to unlock your phone.

Try calling the phone company.

the way i understand it you change the sim card, your phone may still be tagged with the other companys logo but ask your new provider for sure
