If you are so concerned about global warming you should not be online. The electricity for your computer comes from burning oil. Also if you hate people using cars... why do you use them???

Computers are low users of electricity (most of which comes from sources other than burning oil).

The information that can be distributed using a computer and the internet would require thousands of trees being cut down to make all the paper needed to reach as many people as can see it on their monitor screen without using a single piece of paper.

Good point! I always wondered that myself. I mean, surely I'm heating the earth like one 1000000000000000000th of a degree by running this slow piece of crap I got here.

I agree with most of this except the last statement. That was really unnecessary, don't you think?
Yes, we do need to take care of the Earth, of course!
I do think it's rather ironic that only thirty years ago people were afraid we were entering a new ice age, though. And now the fear is global warming.
